Charlotte Wood is a consultant in inclusive communication, oracy-informed service design, and the creation of language-rich environments across education, health and the arts.

Charlotte is a qualified Speech and Language Therapist and senior education leader with 20 years’ experience across schools, the NHS, and the arts.

Charlotte led NHS service development, shaped inclusive school curricula, and supported national creative education projects β€” including Create Speak Thrive (Trestle Theatre) and the Teacher–Artist Exchange (Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation).

She blends therapeutic insight with educational strategy β€” drawing on evidence-based tools like metacognition, role play, growth mindset, oracy frameworks and mnemonic approaches to support meaningful communication for all learners.

Charlotte has consulted with inclusive arts organisations including Oily Cart and Bounce Theatre, providing CPDL, community engagement strategy, and support for families navigating communication needs and neurodivergence.

Still active in frontline practice, Charlotte brings real-world insight to every project β€” helping build inclusive, ambitious communication environments that support professionals, families, and young people alike.
